The St. Andrew Orthodox cross (sometimes just called the Eastern cross) is one of the most recognizable symbols of the Eastern Orthodox faith. Unique to Eastern Orthodoxy, it depicts the three bar design, an important symbol which serves as a potent reminder of what happened at Christ's passion.
