Refund policy

30 DAY RETURNS

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may be eligible for a return. For eligible items, our return policy begins on the day you receive your purchase as indicated by tracking information provided by postal service or courier. To receive a refund or exchange for qualifying purchases, returns must arrive to us within 30 days of the date of receipt.

ALL RETURNING ITEMS MUST BE UNWORN, UNUSED, AND IN THEIR ORIGINAL CONDITION AND PACKAGING WITH ANY TAGS STILL ATTACHED.

Shipping charges are not refundable nor are any customs/duties/VAT/brokerage and other import fees incurred on orders outside of Canada (whether paid for by the customer or by Zoran Designs).

RETURNS FROM THE USA: Our US dollar prices are inclusive of US import fees (duty/tariffs/etc.) We collect and remit these fees to US Customs on your behalf so that you don’t have to worry about paying anything extra when your order arrives. However, we do not recoup these fees if you return your purchase. Consequently, those charges will be deducted from your refund or exchange credit. Please note these fees include duty, brokerage charges and the high tariff rates currently imposed on non-US made products.

We provide a shipping label for all returns but do not cover or absorb the return shipping costs – we will notify you of the cost once you initiate your return and prior to issuing the label. That amount will be deducted from your refund or exchange credit.

(If you would like a return cost estimate BEFORE you place an order with us, please email us your intended order (links to product pages are advised to ensure no confusion regarding the products) as well as your full shipping address as it will be on your order. We will do our best to get back to you with an estimate within 2 to 3 business days.)

IMPORTANT ADVICE: We encourage our customers to pay close attention to product descriptions and measurements. Using a ruler, and even drawing out the dimensions, is recommended to help you get a proper sense of product proportions. We find that most return/exchange requests are the result of an item being either smaller or larger than imagined. Chain lengths are also important to get right. If you don't already have a chain at home in the length you are thinking of purchasing we recommend testing the length by cutting a piece of rope, string, or ribbon to see what it will look like.

INITIATING A RETURN AND SHIPPING LABEL

To initiate a return, simply email us [info@zorandesigns.com] and cite your order number. Initiate your return as soon as possible because you will need to account for shipping time within the 30 day return window. We will obtain a quote for the return shipping label from our provider based on return contents value and email you the cost. Once confirmed, we will send the shipping label and all you will have to do is repackage the jewelry securely, print and affix the label to the shipment then drop it off.

BE SURE THE LABEL IS SCANNED AND REQUEST A PRINTED CONFIRMATION AT TIME OF DROP OFF.

Your return shipment will be fully insured against damage or loss in transit and, for returns outside of Canada, all necessary customs information will be pre-submitted electronically to ensure that your return doesn’t encounter delays or other border clearance issues.

Once a return is received by us we will inspect it and process a refund or exchange.

We provide the shipping label to ensure that return shipments are easily managed, fully insured against damage or loss, and so customs information on returns from outside of Canada are properly and accurately submitted.  WE WILL NOT ACCEPT UNAUTHORIZED OR UNEXPECTED RETURNS.

WHAT QUALIFIES FOR RETURN OR EXCHANGE

REFUND OR EXCHANGE ON REGULARLY PRICED IN-STOCK ITEMS

In-stock items purchased at a regular price are eligible for a refund regardless of reason (subject to meeting the return criteria mentioned above). Bundle discounts (ie: 10% off a chain with the purchase of a pendant) do not disqualify an item from being considered regularly priced and a refund (minus the cost we incur for return shipping) will be issued.

If an EXCHANGE is requested instead of a refund, the cost of return shipping is deducted from the exchange credit.  Shipping for the replacement item will be complimentary one time and only if the replacement order value is at least $200 greater than the original purchase before shipping and taxes. Exchanged items are non-refundable.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE

Items that are special order or ones that have been custom made, customized, sized, made to order, or altered in any way at your request cannot be returned and are not eligible for a refund or exchange. Such items are considered to be FINAL SALE and will not be accepted by us if returned. The only exception to this is if the item arrives to you with a manufacturing defect in which case the item is returnable for exchange or repair at our discretion.

CLEARANCE ITEMS (REDUCED  BY 40% OR MORE) ARE FINAL SALE

Items from our SALE section or any clearance priced items (those reduced by at least 40% off their listed price) cannot be returned and are not eligible for a refund or exchange. Such items are considered to be FINAL SALE. The only exception to this is if the item arrives with a manufacturing defect in which case the item is returnable for exchange or repair at our discretion.

DISCOUNTED ITEMS (REDUCED BY LESS THAN 40%) CAN BE RETURNED FOR EXCHANGE ONLY

With the exception of bundle discounts (ie: 10% off a chain when added to a pendant purchase), items purchased at a discount of less than 40% off their listed price are not refundable but can be returned for an exchange. The replacement item(s) must be equal or greater in value to the original purchase before shipping and taxes. The cost we incur for return shipping will be deducted from the exchange credit. Replacement order shipping will be complimentary only if the replacement order value is at least $200 greater than the original purchase before shipping and taxes.

RETURNS DUE TO MANUFACTURING DEFECT

We want you to be confident and comfortable buying from us. This is why we thoroughly inspect each and every item prior to packaging in order to ensure that no defective item gets sent out. If we accept the return of an item based on a claim of manufacturing defect and determine that our quality control inspection did in fact fail, we will repair or replace the item.
If we determine that there is no defect or that said defect is the result of damage caused by mishandling of the product we will contact you and offer to either resend the item back to you (at your cost) or repair the damage for a fee.

IN CASE OF PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

Please note that we do our best to post up-to-date pricing and/or absorb cost increases whenever possible. However, there are times when material costs may increase at a speed and frequency with which we cannot keep up. Special order, made-to-order and back ordered items are more likely to be subject to this scenario. If we decide that we cannot honor the list/purchase price of a product, we will contact you with a revised price and you will be given the opportunity to either approve the revised price or cancel your order and receive a full refund. Once a price adjustment is approved, the aforementioned terms and conditions of sale will apply.

NON-DELIVERABLE, REFUSAL, FAILURE TO PAY CUSTOMS/VAT

If a shipment containing a returnable order is non-deliverable or returned-to-sender for any reason including but not limited to:
•    incomplete or incorrect address entered during checkout
•    recipient refused to accept 
•    failure to pay duties/taxes/VAT or any other customs fees imposed by the recipient’s country
a 25% fee will be deducted from the refunded amount along with all the shipping and incidental charges incurred by us. If the package contained a non-returnable item (ie: special order item, sale item, etc.) no refund will be issued. Instead, we will offer to resend the package at customer’s cost and will require reimbursement for all shipping and incidental charges incurred by us.
