IMPORTANT FOR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE OF CANADA OR THE USA:
Any potential import/duties/VAT/customs and clearance fees an international order may be subject to are not collected by us and will be the responsibility of the purchaser or recipient. These charges are calculated by your country’s border services agency and will be billed to you directly (often via the shipping courier on behalf of customs).
Payment of import fees may be required prior to arrival, at time of delivery or may be issued as a bill at a later date. To find out if your purchase will be subject to these fees and obtain the most current and accurate rates please check with your country's border service agency or contact the courier for a quote based on your order specifics. We do not recommend using free online duty calculators as we have found they are often inaccurate and can grossly overstate the potential charges.
EXPECTED DELIVERY:
We do not offer delivery time guarantees. After you've added your intended purchase to the cart, use the shipping calculator or proceed through checkout to view your shipping options and find out approximately when you can expect your order to arrive but keep in mind these are estimations only. Some packages may experience delays. If you need to receive your order by a specific date be sure to select a shipping option that should arrive well before your deadline. Shipping upgrade options are available at checkout.
WHERE WE SHIP:
Our online jewelry shop is currently set up to accept orders from the following countries: USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, France, Italy, Spain, Norway, Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, and Ireland. If you are an international customer located in any other country and interested in placing an order please email us at info@zorandesigns.com and indicate the item(s) you are interested in purchasing as well as your location. We will contact you to let you know whether or not we can ship to your country and include a shipping quote.
Please note that we do not ship to hotels or P.O. Boxes. Such orders, if approved during payment processing will subsequently be cancelled.
SHIPPING RATES:
We offer FREE SHIPPING on most orders within Canada and to the US (purchase must total $250 or more before taxes). All of our shipments have a tracking number which will be issued once we create your shipping label. An automated email is sent to you with this information.
Upgrades to quicker shipping services are offered during checkout.
Shipping rates are based on your location and purchase amount. Once you have added one or more items to your shopping cart you can either proceed through checkout to view shipping options or go to our cart page and use the SHIPPING CALCULATOR provided to preview your shipping options along with the corresponding costs as well as estimated delivery time standards for each option. During checkout you will confirm which shipping option you wish to use.
In very rare cases, we may not be able to honor the complimentary shipping option or the upgrade pricing selected during checkout. For example, shipping costs are sometimes significantly higher for remote areas. In such circumstances, and before shipping your order, we will notify you with revised shipping options and pricing and you will have an opportunity to either accept or cancel the order.
SECURITY OF SHIPMENT:
Your order is sent insured and will be fully covered should it suffer damage or loss in transit (subject to the underwriter's policy, conditions and exclusions) in which case you would receive a replacement or refund.
All orders valued $500 CAD or more will require a signature upon delivery. Shipments under $500 CAD going out via tracked post may not require a signature so make sure that your receiving location is secure. If your order does not qualify for complimentary UPS or FedEx shipping but you do not have a secure post box or locked community mailbox, you should upgrade to one of the courier shipping options offered. This will help ensure you have a secure delivery as incidents such as porch piracy are not covered by shipping insurance. Our liability ends once the package is marked as delivered.
IF YOUR PACKAGE APPEARS DAMAGED OR TAMPERED WITH
Do not accept or sign for a package if it appears damaged or like it may have been opened or tampered with. Instead, refuse it and, if time and opportunity allows, take some photographs of it. Contact us as soon as possible to notify us.
WHEN WILL YOUR ORDER BE SHIPPED:
Most items that you can "Add to Cart" are in-stock. We strive to fulfill these purchases within 1 to 3 business days. Often, we can fulfill same day depending on the specific day and time the order is placed. Items described as SPECIAL ORDER take some extra time as indicated on the product page for the particular item in question. Items described as MADE-TO-ORDER on the product page can require a few weeks for manufacturing (approximate manufacturing time required for a particular product is indicated in the description on the product page).
If the item(s) you have ordered is/are not indicated on the product page(s) as SPECIAL ORDER or MADE-TO-ORDER but the order confirmation email states that it is "BACK ORDERED", we will contact you to let you know approximate time to delivery. Should this time frame not suit you, you can cancel your order.
APPROX. DELIVERY STANDARDS:
Delivery times, once an order is fulfilled and updated with tracking information, vary depending on your location and your choice of shipping method. Approximate delivery time standards are listed below:
Canada: 1 to 8 business days
USA: 1-11 business days
Europe: 4-15 business days
Australia: 5-30 business days
Actual delivery time will depend on the specific shipping option selected at checkout. Once you have added your intended purchase to the cart, you can use the shipping calculator at the bottom of the cart page to view more precise delivery times as well as costs for shipping upgrade options.
The delivery times shown during checkout are estimates only. Please be aware that we cannot offer any guarantees on delivery times due to the chance of unforeseeable events and/or rare but possible delays at border services/customs for international packages.
NON-DELIVERABLE, REFUSAL, FAILURE TO PAY CUSTOMS/VAT
If a shipment containing a returnable order is non-deliverable or returned-to-sender for any reason including but not limited to:
• incomplete or incorrect address entered during checkout
• recipient refused to accept
• failure to pay duties/taxes/VAT or any other customs fees imposed by the recipient’s country
a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refunded amount along with all the shipping and incidental charges incurred by us. If the package contained a non-returnable item (ie: special order item, sale item, etc.) no refund will be issued. Instead, we will offer to resend the package at customer’s cost and will require reimbursement for all shipping and incidental charges incurred by us.
